A FANTASTIC cabin at Rauland where you have EVERYTHING!

Everything you need and could want - both summer, autumn, winter and spring.

[Some neighbors even say that it is by far the nicest cabin on the entire cabin field – we thank and bow]

Because we have received tenants from several countries in Europe, we have now chosen to place all bookings in AIRBNB as they provide great trust also outside Scandinavia’s borders.

Bestehytta – named by our oldest grandchild, is a fantastic place regardless of the season.

And, it says a lot when we are the only ones in Norway who pass winter resorts such as Brokke in Setesdalen, Hovden in Setesdalen and Haukeli in Vinje to drive to our cabin in Heimvegli Hyttegrend at Vierli on the roof of Rauland.

We think we have had a wonderful life so far and do not intend to change it – if we can control it…

However, we think that others can also take part in our NiceLife by being able to rent the cabin in the mountains, motorhome or house in Spain.

We have realized that we cannot use everything all the time – neither we nor the children/grandchildren and then it is nice if others can enjoy it, even with a rental cost.

Many years ago, we had a cabin at Hafjell that we rented out for periods – and had very good experience with it.

Therefore, we intend to do it now also when we see that we will spend more and more time in the house on the Costa Blanca in Spain, but do not want to sell off the gem on Rauland.

In this way, more people can have the opportunity to “taste cabin life” in the mountains.

Basically, it is available all year round, although somewhat dependent on ourselves, children and grandchildren. In any case, if it is available in the calendar, it is available.

The cabin has – as you will see below with the equipment list, very high class and with very good quality in all components.  Which it should also be at the price that it is paid.

We bought the cabin a few years ago and immediately made it “our own”.

  • 2 good bedrooms with double beds – 1 of which with upper bunk
  • 1 bedroom with single bed
  • 1 “Uppstugu” with double bed
  • Ordinary bed for 8 people + pull-out bed for 1 person and a cot
  • 3 full bathrooms with shower and toilet etc
  • Whirlpool bathtub in one of the bathrooms
  • Sauna
  • Washing Machine & Dryer
  • Plenty of closet space
  • Heating cables in all floors that provide good and warm heat
  • Fireplace in the living room
  • Stacked firewood outside
  • Charger for electric car
  • Fiber network
  • Powerful wireless network (Mesh)
  • TV in living room (AppleTV it says)
  • TV in Uppstugu (AppleTV it says)
  • Dining area for 12
  • All equipment in the kitchen incl. microwave, espresso machine etc.
  • Jacuzzi on the terrace
  • Outdoor fireplace “in front” of the living room windows
  • Outdoor grill in the sun wall together with strong outdoor furniture
  • The road into the cabin and the space in front of the cabin are plowed as part of the service agreement
  • Terraces etc are also shoveled by our security company. Any other shoveling must be done by the tenant himself.
  • Snow shovel stands by the front door
  • Parking space for at least 4 cars
  • As grandparents, we of course also have a high chair, a travel cot with a duvet and some children’s toys placed under the stairs in the basement

  • Fantastic ski destination in one of Norway’s safest snow areas

  • Groomed ski trails straight out from the cabin

  • Storage room in the basement
  • Rooms on the main floor

 

Other important points

  • Minimum age for tenants is 28 years
  • Min. rental period (high season) 3 nights
  • Min. rental period (low season) 3 nights
  • Check-in on Sundays at 16:00 at the earliest
  • Check-out no later than 11:00
  • Non-smoking
  • Pets are not allowed

 

Insurance

  • Insurance is taken out in If and included in the rental price
  • The cabin is connected to a security center with 10 minutes call-out time (if used, the landlord must be contacted immediately by SMS on +47 9165 1152)
  • If an insurance case is needed, the landlord must be contacted immediately in addition to the insurance company, and then at bestehytta@nicelife.no
